Cara Lain Mengatakan "How are you?"
Umumnya saat kita bertemu dengan seseorang hal pertama yang kita tanyakan adalah kabarnya. Kita mengatakan “How are you?”. Dan, umumnya orang Indonesia akan menjawab “I’m fine. Thank you. And, you? Selain ekspresi “How are you?”, kebanyakan native speakers menggunakan ungkapan lain yang memiliki arti sama seperti berikut ini:
- How is it going?
- How are you doing?
- How are you going? (commonly used by Australian only)
- How is life?
- Are you okay? / You okay?
- Are you alright? / You alright?
- How is everything?
- How are things?
