Simple tenses adalah tenses yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan sebuah kegiatan atau kejadian yang terjadi pada waktu lampau (past), sekarang (present) dan di masa akan datang (future). Fungsi umum dari simple tenses adalah menyatakan kapan kejadian itu terjadi. Simple tenses terdiri dari 4 yaitu: 1. Simple Past Tense Simple past tense menjelaskan suatu kejadian yang terjadi pada waktu sebelum sekarang (lampau).
